- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★My boyfriend and I, along with two of our friends, were amongst those evacuated from Fort McMurray due to the wild fires. We traveled to Jasper to stay and we decided to make the best of our time and go on a trail ride. We were so pleased with the quality of this stable - the horses were healthy and happy, the staff were beyond helpful and kind, and the trails themselves were incredible. Thank you to everyone at the stables for your generosity during these times and for helping us keep our minds off the terrible events in Fort McMurray. - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★We spent the weekend travelling from Banff to Jasper, stopping to hike and enjoy the scenery as we went, and this was definitely the highlight of the weekend. We booked the 2 hour ride, and the scenery was incredible, and even though it has been quite a few years since either myself or my girlfriend have ridden a horse, both our guide and the horses made the experience very pleasant. Their horses were all in excellent health, and were very friendly towards all the guests. Our guide "Elle" was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history and geography of the area. If you are looking for a trail ride with an amazing view of the mountains, I would absolutely recommend Jasper Park Riding Stables.By troy turton, August 08, 2016
