  Best place for stargazing.

  So beautiful and the views are breathtaking. There are some great trails around the lakes and a large open area near Lake Annette for sports and picnics. We set up a few chairs away from the crowds at the Dark Sky Festival and gawked at the stars. Be wary of driving in and out as it can get really gridlocked if it's busy. There are lots of parking spots near the open field mentioned above, but it can take a while to get out from there and the road is narrow. There's a quick bike trail from the town site to the lakes if you have the time and ability to get in that way instead.

  Great hike and views. Unfortunately the area has been greatly reduced in past couple of years due to the collapse.

  These 2 little lakes are one of the best picnic area with BBQs and shelter in the park.

  This is a nice little walk and because it's not too long and has a wide, level, paved path, it's a good "hike" for people who can't quite make a steeper walk. My 75 year old mother has no trouble with this walk. As all the lakes in Jasper, Annette Lake is beautiful. There is also a small sandy beach and a nice place for a cool dip on a hot day.
