- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Beautiful , quiet campground beside the Athabasca River. Great fire pits , clean bathrooms. Better suited for tenters. Campsite #7 is the best one right beside the river. If you want privacy #39 is further back . It's large & has lots of trees for privacy. It's very close to Horeshoe for cliff diving and swimming , Athabasca falls to take on the sites. Honeymoon lake isn't far up the road for a dip.By Christine H, September 10, 2016
